NRL Magic Round — Ai Concept

I set myself the challenge of creating a 12 hour, 50% design and 50% AI-generated concept for the NRL Magic Round, using ai tools such as Midjourney, Freepik, Luma ai, Gemini and ChatGPT to build prompts, image generation, video generation, ai voice over, SFX and music and CapCut for video editing. The concept is built around some of the game’s biggest stars: Reece Walsh, Nico Hynes and Cam Murray. The idea leans into a playful, high-energy tone, using hand-drawn lines and sketch-style elements to amplify the sense of excitement and spontaneity that defines the event.

At the heart of the concept is a 20-second AI-generated video, following three everyday people in their jobs, each in need of a little “magic” in their lives. As their stories build, the scene transitions to the electric atmosphere of Suncorp Stadium, where fans come together to cheer on their teams. The campaign is unified by the line: “Everyone needs some magic in their life.”

The idea is to demonstrate what can be achieved within the time constraints and give a client a clear sense of what’s possible before moving into full production.

Design Refresh

Davell, an Australian-owned sheet metal manufacturing company, is approaching 75 years in business and sought a creative refresh to celebrate this milestone. The redesign uses a tonal colour palette that honours the brand’s heritage while giving it a modern, updated feel. Incorporating hand-drawn illustrations adds a human touch, balancing the precision and perfection of Davell’s products and creating a visual identity that feels both authentic and approachable.

Edstein's new website is focused on providing a seamless user experience to showcase their stonemasonry services. A flowing UX can help guide visitors through the website, making it easy for them to find the information they need and ultimately convert into customers.

By bringing Edstein to the forefront of stonemasonry, the new website can help the business stand out in a crowded market and the market leaders.

Minimis Technologies is a San Francisco and Sydney-based startup that aims to reduce digital distraction and streamline wearable tech for athletes and everyday users.

I designed this A4 flyer for an investor conference as a clear, high-impact information and investment piece aimed at introducing Minimis to potential investors and their first customers. The flyer communicates the core value proposition in a simple, memorable way, positioning Minimis as an all-in-one sports wearable that replaces a watch, bike computer, and phone through smart sunglasses. It’s designed to quickly engage, spark curiosity, and encourage investors to learn more, preorder, or get involved.
